Mike Moseler - President & Chief Technology Officer
Mike Moseler is the President & Chief Technology Officer of Healthcare Fraud Shield and has over 20 years of experience in IT with expertise in the design and development of advanced analytics and workflow technology platforms. Mike has extensive expertise in the application of fraud analytics in combination with large public record databases.
Prior to founding HCFS, Mike was the CIO and co-founder of DataVerify, a leading provider of fraud detection solutions for the mortgage industry. Mike’s “hands on” technical performance proved integral to the acquisition of key mortgage clients, such as Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, HUD, Washington Mutual, Quicken Loans and several hundred other clients in the finance industry. Mike’s previous experience also includes the IT Director for AppIntelligence and the architect for InLink, an Internet Service Provider. Mike co-founded Healthcare Fraud Shield bringing with him an innovative approach to fraud detection solutions maximizing modern technology capabilities.
Karen Weintraub is the Executive Vice President SIU for Healthcare Fraud Shield. As EVP, Ms. Weintraub is responsible for the design and development of the company’s healthcare fraud detection software products and services. She provides subject matter expertise on system design and workflow, business rule development, data mining and fraud outlier algorithms as well as SIU policies and procedures.
Prior to joining Healthcare Fraud Shield, Ms. Weintraub was the Senior Manager of SIU Services at GDIT and the Supervisor of Investigations for Health Net, Inc. and managed all northeast healthcare investigations for all commercial, Medicaid and Medicare business and claims of fraudulent activity. Ms. Weintraub received a BA in Criminal Justice from the University of Delaware and an MA in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University. Ms. Weintraub is a Certified Professional Coder for Payers (CPC-P), a Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) from the American Academy of Professional Coders and the founder of the Hamilton, NJ AAPC chapter. She is also an Accredited Healthcare Fraud Investigator (AHFI) from the National Healthcare Anti-Fraud Association (NHCAA). Ms. Weintraub Taught CPT Coding, Fraud & Audits, and Medical Billing, Laws and Ethics and the local community college. Ms. Weintraub is also a well known speaker and is asked to speak regularly by NHCAA. Other speaking engagements include, but is not limited to NJSIA, IFPA, FBI and more.
Tony Rademeyer - Executive Vice President of Sales
Tony Rademeyer is Executive Vice President for Healthcare Fraud Shield and is responsible for national sales and marketing. He is also responsible for all client support functions including account management, client relations, and customer service, as well as contract administration. Recently, Mr. Rademeyer was Director, National Sales for Interthinx.
Prior to joining Interthinx, Mr. Rademeyer was Southeast Regional Sales Manager for AppIntelligence and prior to AppIntell, Mr. Rademeyer was a sales/service representative at Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company. With more than 15 years of sales and management experience, Mr. Rademeyer has been responsible for building and overseeing the primary customer base for multiple companies. Mr. Rademeyer received his B.S. in Accounting and Marketing at the University of Missouri St. Louis and MBA in Information Systems at Maryville University in St. Louis, MO.
Rick Epperson - Chief Information Security Officer
Rick Epperson is the Chief Information Security Officer for Healthcare Fraud Shield and leads the company’s information security, privacy and business resiliency functions.
Prior to joining Healthcare Fraud Shield, Rick was Director of Business Resiliency and Information Security for Cotiviti where he was responsible for security risk management, business continuity and crisis management governance, security operations and incident response. Rick was the Information Security Officer at iHealth Technologies where he developed and implemented the company’s initial information security and governance program. Rick has taught university courses on Information Security, Project Management and Business Systems Development. Rick received an Executive Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Bill Van Fleit is the VP of Data Science for Healthcare Fraud Shield. Bill is responsible for managing the development of advanced analytics and AI-enabled technologies.
Bill has worked in the health insurance industry since 2006 developing analytics for fraud detection and closely related areas, such as payment policy and audit selection. Prior to joining Healthcare Fraud Shield in 2019, Bill held positions at Cotiviti, iHealth Technologies and ACS State Healthcare. Bill is an Accredited Healthcare Fraud Investigator (AHFI). He holds a Master of Science in Biostatistics and a Master of Arts in Medical Anthropology, both from Georgia State University.
Jeff DiMaria is the IT Director for Healthcare Fraud Shield. Jeff is responsible for managing the information infrastructure supporting HCFS’s software applications. He leads a technical team encompassing software development and product development and analytics. Jeff has been with our team from the early phases of our product development and manages our healthcare fraud rule development.
Jeff previously spent over 6 years in the design and development of mortgage fraud detection systems at both Interthinx and Kroll Factual Data and provides a unique perspective of concepts that our company is introducing to the healthcare space. Jeff is a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and has a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from Saint Louis University.
